Kernersville's best place for dance! Dance Unlimited classes are small enough to ensure involvement and focused training. Private and semi-private instruction is also offered for all disciplines of dance. While students improve as dancers, they also gain self-esteem that will benefit them throughout their lives. Dance is fun and fulfilling on its own, but it provides the additional benefits of exercise, structure and discipline. What We Offer!Parents and students can tailor a dance program to their needs through both private and group classes.Preschool and kindergarten students start with a 1 hour tap, ballet, and gymnastics class. This type of class helps students hold interest and develops a wide skill base. Intermediate and advanced students receive 1 hour and 15 minute classes offering specialized training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and acrobatics. Competition teams begin at age 7. Students are invited to try out at open call every July. Company dancers attend two, 1 hour and 30 minute classes every week and throughout the summer. Competition meets start in January and run through the summer months. While DU competitive dancers are always medal winners, learning self confidence, dance technique and having fun are what we stress the most! For upcoming workshops and competitions, visit the "Schedule" section of the website.Beginning and intermediate Yoga and Pilates classes are provided by a certified instructor. Included are special workshops that are offered to help prevent injury and improve body awareness. For Registration information, visit our "Policies" section of the website, or contact us by email.
